3 years agoCincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon (ankle) was not spotted during the portion of Friday's practice open to the media. Mixon, who has been dealing with a low-ankle sprain, has yet to take the practice field this week- and another 'DNP' would have him looking doubtful for Sunday's matchup with Green Bay. If Mixon sits out the game, fellow backs Samaje Perine and Chris Evans would be in line to see more work against a Packers defense that has been a middle-of-the-pack matchup for opposing backs. Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan noted yesterday that Perine and Evans would likely split the touches- though Perine should be the favorite to lead the committee. He could have flex appeal, particularly in PPR formats, thanks to his ability as a pass-catcher.--Tim Capurso
