5 years agoCincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon has been in talks with the team regarding a potential contract extension, according to director of player personnel Duke Tobin. "Joe's obviously a guy that's shown a lot of ability," Tobin remarked about the 23-year-old while speaking to Lance McAlister of 700 WLW. Mixon, who is entering the final year of his rookie contract, has stated that he is prepared for a holdout if an agreement isn't reached before the start of the 2020 season. The former Sooner finished 2019 with 1,137 yards and five touchdowns on 278 attempts to go along 35 catches for 287 yards and three additional scores.
