5 years agoCincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon ran for just 50 yards during the overtime loss to Miami in Week 16. He also had two receptions for 23 yards. Although Mixon was going up against a Dolphins Defense that allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing backs over the last month, the 23-year-old had a disappointing performance after hitting at least 136 yards on the ground in each of his previous two games. While it would be easy to blame his inefficient play on Andy Dalton's 56 passing attempts, he still had ample opportunities to produce by recording 21 carries on the afternoon. With the Bengals having nothing left to play for, Mixon has one more chance to leave a favorable impression on what has been an underwhelming season when his team will host the Cleveland Browns in Week 17.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
