6 years agoCincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon rushed for 123 yards and two touchdowns on 21 attempts while catching three balls for 15 yards in Week 8 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs had no answer for the Bengals offense in the first half and Mixon posted his best game of the season. Both of his scores came inside the 10-yard line and Sunday was the first time he breached 100 yards on the ground. Mixon has enjoyed every-down duties over the past four weeks but will likely cede snaps to Giovani Bernard (knee), who is expected to return after the team’s bye week.
