Joe Mixon Finds The End Zone In Week 4, Injures Ankle
3 years agoCincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon (ankle) ran for 67 yards and a touchdown off 16 carries during the win over the Jaguars on Thursday night. He also caught one of his two targets. The former Oklahoma Sooner ended a two-game scoreless drought, doing so by punching in a one-yard run in the third quarter. Yet, the notable takeaway of the evening came when Mixon was observed limping on the sidelines toward the end of the contest. Head coach Zac Taylor confirmed that Mixon is dealing with an ankle issue, but fantasy managers have a good chance to see him out there with a few additional days added before the Week 5 matchup against the packers. Still, if he isn't able to go, Samaje Perine would likely be the one to get most of the carries out of the backfield versus Green Bay.
