Joe Mixon Finishes The Year Strong
5 years agoCincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon ran for a season-high 162 yards and two scores on 26 attempts during the win over Cleveland in Week 17. He also had a catch for 14 yards. The 23-year-old had his best game of the year on Sunday, compiling an average of 6.2 yards per carry while recording his first double-touchdown performance in 2019. Mixon found his groove as a runner in the second half of the season by recording all five of his rushing touchdowns during the last eight weeks, while also logging all four of his 100-plus yard outings during that same span. If the Bengals can fix the offensive line, which was arguably the worst in the league, Mixon could see his production spike in the 2020 season. Dynasty managers will want to keep an eye on this situation during the offseason.
