5 years agoCincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon gained 79 yards on 18 carries in a loss to the Steelers Sunday. Mixon was not targeted in the passing game, putting a bit of a damper on his fantasy day. It was a typical game for Mixon with little room to run behind a sub-par offensive line, but he did enough to justify continuing to start him based on volume alone. Mixon had 18 of the team's 21 rush attempts so he is dominating touches and usually will contribute something in the passing game. He won't get many chances to score playing in one of the league's worst offenses, but given how much work he's getting Mixon will be in the RB2 mix again next week in a matchup with the Jets.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
