3 years agoSan Diego Padres starting pitcher Joe Musgrove went six innings against the Philadelphia Phillies Saturday, allowing one run on three hits and two walks. He struck out nine batters and took a no-decision in the contest. Musgrove has an 8-8 record on the year, but his 3.04 ERA, 1.02 WHIP, and 160 strikeouts in 139 1/3 innings are a better indicator of how strong a season the right-hander is having. He'll look to finish the season strong, starting with his favorable next matchup against the Los Angeles Angels.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
