Joe Musgrove Fans Career-High 13 Brewers
4 years agoSan Diego Padres starter Joe Musgrove was brilliant in a tough-luck loss Monday against the Milwaukee Brewers, fanning a career-high 13 batters over seven innings. Musgrove yielded just four hits and a walk across 96 pitches, but was outdueled by Brewers ace Brandon Woodruff. Musgrove's key mistakes were allowing two solo shots as the Friars fell 3-1. The 28-year-old continues his dominant start to the season and now holds a 1.04 ERA, 0.54 WHIP and spectacular 40 percent strikeout rate over 26 frames (four starts). He's firmly in must-start territory in all fantasy formats and draws the rival Los Angeles Dodgers on the road this Saturday.
