7 years agoPittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Joe Musgrove (shoulder), currently on the 10-day disabled list, has no timetable to return to the mound. Bill Brink of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports Musgrove has thrown from 75 feet twice this week, but the team isn't sure when he'll return yet. The right-hander hasn't pitched in nearly two weeks due to a shoulder strain and seems likely to need a rehab assignment before he can return. Musgrove's spot in the rotation is probably safe, however, as Steven Brault has been unspectacular in two starts thus far.--Matt Wilkes
