7 years agoPittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Joe Musgrove (shoulder) will throw another bullpen session on Sunday, according to a report from Liz Bloom of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. He'll follow that up with a simulated game on Wednesday if all goes well. Musgrove was expected to be the Pirates' fifth starter coming out of spring training, but he has not pitched yet due to a right shoulder strain. There's still no exact timetable for his return, though it stands to reason that he'll head out on a rehab assignment soon if his upcoming throwing sessions go well.--Matt Wilkes
