The native San Diegan made history for his hometown club with the Friars first ever no-no, fanning 10 on the brilliant evening. His only blemish was hitting outfielder Joey Gallo in the fourth inning. The 28-year-old is off and running in 2021, gathering two victories across 15 shutout frames with a sparkling 18 strikeouts and zero walks. He pounded the strike zone on Friday with 77 of 112 pitches painting the black. Musgrove's next outing comes Wednesday against his former squad, the Pittsburgh Pirates at PNC Park. He's a must-start in that contest.
