Joe Panik Could Be Sidelined for Three Weeks
6 years agoSan Francisco Giants manager Bruce Bochy said there is a chance that second baseman Joe Panik is out for three weeks. Panik suffered a groin injury while rounding the bases earlier last week. With Panik out, it is expected that Allen Hanson will get the majority of starts at second base. Hanson is hitting .276 with four home runs, 25 RBI and four stolen bases in 2018. He's worth a pickup in mixed leagues while Panik is on the shelf.
