7 years agoSan Francisco Giants second baseman Joe Panik (thumb) is expected to rejoin the Giants this weekend. Panik is beginning a rehab assignment at Triple-A Sacramento on Monday. He's expected to play five games or receive 20 at-bats to get into form, according to John Shea. Panik has not played since April 27 due to a torn UCL in his left thumb. Owners in deeper leagues should stash Panik because it sounds like he's going to be back very soon.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
