3 years agoMiami Marlins infielder Joe Panik hit a home run in his first Marlins at bat in Wednesday's win over the Philadelphia Phillies. Panik went 2-for-4 with the homer and an RBI single. He scored two runs, drove in two, and also drew a walk. It was a great first game for Panik, who got the start at third base and hit seventh in the lineup. He likely won't be an everyday player for Don Mattingly's Marlins, but he should get enough at bats around the infield to be a guy worth keeping an eye on in DFS formats. Panik was acquired along with a minor league reliever from the Toronto Blue Jays on Tuesday in exchange for Adam Cimber and Corey Dickerson.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
