Joe Panik Retires From Baseball
3 years agoSecond baseman Joe Panik retired from professional baseball before the 2022 season. He slashed .207/.266/.284 with three home runs, 18 RBI, 17 runs and two stolen bases over 95 games for the Marlins/Blue Jays in 2021. The 31-year-old spent the majority of his career with the Giants and won a World Series ring with the team in 2014. He made the All-Star team in 2015. Panik finishes his career with a .264/.328/.372 slash line along with 42 home runs, 258 RBI, 340 runs and 22 stolen bases over 3,099 plate appearances.
