Joe Panik Slugs Second Homer
3 years agoToronto Blue Jays infielder Joe Panik hit his second home run of the season on Saturday as his club went on to beat the Astros 6-2. The 30-year-old veteran took Jose Urquidy out of the park for a three-run knock in the fourth as he finished the day going 2-for-4. Panik missed some time in May with a calf strain and is now finding almost an everyday role with Cavan Biggio sidelined. The depth of the Jays lineup is helping him generate some counting stats, but he's not quite worth adding in mixed-leagues since his power is few and far between.
