7 years agoSan Jose Sharks center Joe Pavelski provided helpers on two goals Monday in a 5-3 win against the Detroit Red Wings, as he assisted Joonas Donskoi on the game's opening goal and picked up the other on Chris Tierney's empty-netter to finish off the scoring. Pavelski is having a down year this season, as he's on pace to finish with only 65 points, which would be his worst tally since the lockout-shortened 2012-13 season, but he's picked it up since the end of last month, getting nine points in six games, including four in a 5-2 win over Edmonton. The Oilers are also San Jose's next opponent on Wednesday, with Pavelski starting the tilt with nine points in three previous meetings this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
