6 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Joe Ross is lined up to start against the Cubs on Thursday if everything goes to plan. Ross will be used primarily as a starter to close out the season, according to manager Dave Martinez. Ross made his season debut last Friday in an inning of work, but the game was eventually rained out. The right-hander has strikeout upside and can be useful in deep mixed and NL-only leagues to finish out the season, but a matchup against Chicago is a little dicey.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
