Joe Ross Solid In Quality Start Against Phillies
3 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Joe Ross had a solid showing Thursday, nearly helping the team salvage the last game of the series against the surging Philadelphia Phillies, but he was left with a no-decision when closer Kyle Finnegan blew the save. Ross allowed three runs on five hits and two walks in 6 1/3 innings, striking out seven batters. Ross has a 4.02 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, and 107 strikeouts in 103 innings, making him a solid, if unspectacular, streaming option in fantasy leagues.
