2 years agoFree-agent linebacker Joe Schobert is visiting with the New Orleans Saints on Friday, according to a source. Schobert had 112 tackles last year for the Pittsburgh Steelers and made the Pro Bowl in 2017 while playing for the Cleveland Browns. He was released by Pittsburgh in March after he tallied 70 solo tackles, one interception, six passes defensed and one forced fumble in 16 games played. If he were to sign with the Saints, Schobert would likely mix in with Demario Davis at inside linebacker. The 28-year-old has 661 career tackles (406 solo), 23 tackles for loss, 26 QB hits, 11 sacks, 10 interceptions (one for a touchdown), 30 passes defensed, 10 forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries in six NFL seasons.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
