Joey Bart Dealing With Groin Injury
2 years agoSan Francisco Giants catcher Joey Bart (groin) was pulled from the game early on Wednesday against the Los Angeles Dodgers with slight groin tightness. Bart went 3-for-4 in the game before departing, and fantasy managers won't have him in the lineup for Thursday's game against left-hander Clayton Kershaw. After the 3-for-4 performance, Bart is now hitting .205/.299/.378 with eight long balls, 16 RBI, 21 runs scored and two stolen bases in 156 at-bats for San Francisco. With the 25-year-old ticketed for a spot on the bench on Thursday, Austin Wynns should be behind the plate for the Giants to catch right-handed starter Jakob Junis.
