4 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Joey Gallo clobbered left-handed pitching in 2019 and appears to be off to the same torrid start against southpaws to open this year following another blast Sunday. All three of Gallo’s home runs in 2020 have been against lefties, which shouldn’t be surprising considering he amassed a 1.174 OPS in 75 at-bats vs. LHP last season. While strikeouts will always be a part of the package as it pertains to Gallo, his power potential when healthy is among the game’s elite. From a DFS perspective, owners may be able to gain a leg up with his knowledge of his reverse splits, as he is next slated to face A’s lefty Jesus Luzardo on Tuesday.--Jesse Borek
