3 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Joey Gallo (groin) exited Saturday's game with left groin tightness. He went 2-for-2 with a run scored before leaving. The 28-year-old will undergo additional testing after the game and is considered day-to-day. Gallo is off to a slow start to the season, slashing .153/.254/.271 with two home runs and three RBI over 20 games in 2022. Tim Locastro replaced Gallo in the game and would see an uptick in playing time while Gallo is sidelined. Locastro is primarily used as a pinch-runner this season and swiped three bags over 10 games in 2022. The 29-year-old would be a speculative add in deep-league formats if Gallo were to miss time, especially for fantasy managers searching for speed.
