5 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Joey Gallo hit another home run Friday night as part of a five-homer outburst for the Rangers offense. It was home run number 21 on the season for the All-Star slugger who continues to show improvement over last season. Gallo's gains are his plate discipline, he still strikes out at astronomical levels, but he has learned to take his walks. Last season, Gallo walked at a 12.8 percent rate and this season he upped that number to 18.6. This has to lead to more pitches in the zone where Gallo really does his damage. He makes hard contact at a 55.1 percent rate, good for third in the Majors. He missed some time earlier in the season, but he has top-10 outfielder upside rest of season in fantasy.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
