7 years agoTexas Rangers corner infielder/outfielder Joey Gallo (rest) is out of the starting lineup on Monday versus the San Diego Padres. Gallo was forced to leave Saturday's game due to left hamstring tightness. However, the Rangers are facing lefty Joey Lucchesi on Monday. Gallo is hitting a rough .151/.235/.370 versus southpaws this season. Gallo played on Sunday, so he's likely out on Monday because of his inability to hit lefty pitching.
