2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Joey Gallo (elbow) left the game early on Wednesday against the division-rival San Francisco Giants with a right elbow contusion after he was hit by a pitch in the second inning of play. For now, fantasy managers should consider Gallo to be day-to-day, but the 28-year-old could be ready to go for the series opener on Friday against the San Diego Padres after an off day on Thursday. Gallo came into Wednesday's game with a .203/.311/.469 slash line with four homers and 13 RBI in 24 games for the Dodgers after being dealt from the New York Yankees at the trade deadline.
