Joey Gallo Leaves Game After Hit By Pitch
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Joey Gallo (elbow) left the game early on Wednesday against the division-rival San Francisco Giants with a right elbow contusion after he was hit by a pitch in the second inning of play. For now, fantasy managers should consider Gallo to be day-to-day, but the 28-year-old could be ready to go for the series opener on Friday against the San Diego Padres after an off day on Thursday. Gallo came into Wednesday's game with a .203/.311/.469 slash line with four homers and 13 RBI in 24 games for the Dodgers after being dealt from the New York Yankees at the trade deadline. Overall, he's hitting an embarrassing .168 with 16 home runs, 37 RBI, 42 runs scored and two stolen bases in 106 games.
