4 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Joey Gallo is back among the starting nine for Tuesday’s contest against Oakland and left-hander Sean Manaea. After getting a day off Monday, Gallo returns in time to exploit his reverse splits from this season as he has hit five of his seven homers this year off of southpaws. A staple of the Texas order, Gallo’s power bat continues to display his boom-or-bust nature with an 18% barrel rate, along with a 37% K rate. He gains exponential intrigue in formats (such as DFS) where he isn’t punished for his strikeouts. Still, he should be rostered in all leagues at this point.--Jesse Borek
