6 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Joey Gallo will be on the bench for Saturday's game against Tyler Skaggs and the Los Angeles Angels. It is a strange decision, seeing as Gallo has smoked home runs in each of the first two games of the series. The 25-year-old has a .240 average with three HRs, nine RBI and nine walks through eight games in 2019. Hunter Pence will start in left field and bat fourth. Pence is 3-for-4 in his career against Skaggs with four RBI, a HR and a walk.
