4 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Joey Gallo has slashed just .160/.236/.321 during 24 games in September. With just three home runs in that stretch, his fantasy appeal has cratered, particularly in formats where strikeouts earn negative points for managers. Gallo has produced a whopping 35% K rate this year, which has led to a .191 xBA, both of which put him in the bottom third percentile of all batters in the Majors. When going right, his prodigious power can carry a lineup, but with more than a three MPH dip in average exit velocity and more than 100 points falling off his wOBA, Gallo may slide in drafts during 2021 following his erratic close to this season.--Jesse Borek
