5 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Joey Gallo went 0-for-4 with four strikeouts at Houston on Sunday. The game was Gallo's fourth four-strikeout game of the season with three of those coming against Houston. Gallo has been slumping lately with only one hit in his past 24 plate appearances which means his 38.2 percent strikeout rate is more in focus. Everybody knows Gallo strikes out too often and yes he was due for some regression as his BABIP resides at an unsustainable .365. However, when he makes contact it's among the best in the league, his hard-hit rate is over 50 percent, and he still has an OPS of .993. Gallo's fantasy owners just have to live with these types of games from time to time and continue to start him for when he breaks out of this slump, hopefully starting this week in Seattle.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
