6 years agoSan Diego Padres starter Joey Lucchesi cruised to victory in Wednesday's blowout against the Seattle Mariners, completing 6 2/3 frames of one-run ball. He yielded six hits, walked two and fanned nine, improving to 7-7 on the season. Although endurance has been an issue for Lucchesi, he’s now posted three quality starts in his last four outings with a 3.18 ERA over that span. For the season, Lucchesi owns a 3.59 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 9.7 K/9 in what’s been a very impressive rookie campaign. He should continue being a fantasy option in all formats as he faces the Arizona Diamondbacks next Monday.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
