5 years agoSan Diego Padres starter Joey Lucchesi continued his impressive streak Friday, firing 6 1/3 frames of one-run ball against the Miami Marlins. Lucchesi fanned five and allowed just two hits and a walk to pick up his fourth win. After a few bumpy starts, Joey Fuego has limited opponents to three earned runs or fewer in six of seven outings and has surpassed six innings in three straight starts. He’ll carry a sturdy 3.96 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 9.1 K/9 into next Wednesday’s start at home against the Philadelphia Phillies. With a 2.61 ERA at Petco Park this season, he should remain a reliable backend arm in all standard fantasy leagues.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
