3 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Joey Lucchesi (elbow) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Saturday with left elbow inflammation, according to Justin Toscano of NorthJersey.com. The move comes as somewhat of a surprise, as Lucchesi had looked good in his start on Friday night where he tossed 5 1/3 scoreless innings while striking out five against the Nationals. Lucchesi got off to a rough start this season, posting a 9.19 ERA over his first 15 2/3 innings. But over his last five starts, Lucchesi has now posted a 1.19 ERA with 24 strikeouts over 22 2/3 innings of work. When healthy, Lucchesi is looking like a solid play in NL-only formats and as a streaming option in mixed-leagues.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
