6 years agoSan Diego Padres starter Joey Lucchesi (hip) will be activated from the disabled list and start Wednesday's game against the Oakland Athletics. Lucchesi has been out since May 15. Through nine starts prior to the injury, the 25-year-old rookie was the Padres best pitcher, posting a 3.23 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 9.1 K/9. Owners that held onto Lucchesi should feel comfortable starting him against the A's Wednesday and he should certainly be back on the fantasy radar in any leagues he was dropped.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
