5 years agoSan Diego Padres starter Joey Lucchesi suffered his sixth loss Thursday against Los Angeles Dodgers, allowing four earned runs in 5 2/3 innings. The end result looks poor but Lucchesi was cruising before unraveling in the sixth inning, with the bullpen ultimately sealing his fate. The lefty yielded four hits and three walks overall with four strikeouts. Lucchesi has been inconsistent in 2019 with a 4.23 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 8.5 K/9 but proven he can be solid backend fantasy starter. He’ll get an attractive matchup against the Seattle Mariners at T-Mobile Park next week.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
