Joey Meneses Drives Home Four With Four Hits Thursday
2 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Joey Meneses had a career day at the plate in Thursday's 7-5 win over the Oakland Athletics, recording four hits in six at-bats. He homered, scored twice, and added four RBI on the day. The 30-year-old rookie has begun his career on fire, slashing .354/.385/.626 with seven home runs, 18 runs, and 15 RBI across 25 games. Meneses won't keep up these numbers, but fantasy managers needing batting average can take a flyer given his 17.3% strikeout rate and .281 career minor league batting average.
