7 years agoCincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto went 1-for-4 with two runs and a three-run homer on Saturday against the Chicago Cubs. Votto is now slashing .299/.427/.459 with eight homers, 41 runs, 40 RBI, and one steal on the year. While the veteran continues to get on base at a high rate, his power stroke has been mostly absent this season. He has started to show some signs of life in that department lately, however, hitting two homers and four doubles in his past eight games. He remains a solid buy-low option if you can find a fantasy owner who is disappointed in Votto's production this season.--Matt T - RotoBaller
