3 years agoCincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto went 3-for-5 with a double, a run, and two RBI in a 6-5 win over the St. Louis Cardinals on Friday. Votto got to work early, getting the Reds on the board in the first inning with a two-run double. The veteran first baseman has been swinging a hot bat of late, hitting .346 with a homer, four runs, and four RBI over his last seven games. Overall, Votto is slashing .266/.361/.471 with 12 doubles, 12 homers, 30 runs, 44 RBI, and a steal. He has been worth using in fantasy as a starter in deeper mixed leagues this season.--Matt T - RotoBaller
