Joey Votto Drives In Two In Lopsided Win
5 years agoCincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto went 3-for-4 with a walk, a run, and two RBI in an 11-6 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Monday. The three-hit night raised Votto's batting average to .263, to go along with nine homers, 53 runs, 32 RBI, and two steals. While it has been a slow season for Votto, he is starting to show some signs of life of late. Over his past seven games, Votto is hitting .321 with a home run and seven RBI. He still isn't an everyday fantasy starter but he's worth plugging into lineups when he has a plus matchup.
