6 years agoCincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto went 3-for-4 with a walk and two RBI in his team's 6-2 win over the Philadelphia Phillies on Saturday. The pair of RBI were the first for Votto since July 14 when he also plated two runs. Votto remains one of the best pure hitters and on-base machines in the league but his power numbers have dipped significantly from his MVP-caliber 2017 campaign. Overall, Votto is hitting .287 with an .853 OPS, nine homers, 58 runs, and 52 RBI. He will look to drive in a few more runs against Phillies starter Zach Eflin on Sunday.--Matt T - RotoBaller
