Joey Votto Drives In Two
4 years agoCincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto went 2-for-5 with a walk, two RBI, and two runs in an 8-7 loss to the Chicago Cubs on Monday. Votto is off to a fast start after an uncharacteristically slow 2019 season. Through four games, he is hitting .412 with two homers, five runs, five RBI, and two walks. While Votto's days as an elite fantasy first baseman are over, he can still provide value to fantasy teams. Votto has historically been a slow starter, so his top-notch production of late is an added bonus. He will see Cubs right-hander Alec Mills on Tuesday.
