Joey Votto Grabs One Hit
6 years agoCincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto went 1-for-4 with a single in his team's 7-3 loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates on Tuesday. Votto's disappointing season has continued after a short stint on the disabled list. In his 22 at-bats since being activated, Votto is hitting just .222 with four runs and two RBI. Overall, the veteran first baseman is hitting .281 with nine homers, 62 runs, 57 RBI, and one steal. Decent numbers, but a far cry from his impressive 36-106-100-5 line he put up in 2017. With the fantasy playoffs already started in many leagues, it is going to be hard to trust Votto unless he starts producing better numbers.
