Joey Votto Has Three-Hit Day Against Milwaukee
5 years agoCincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto went 3-for-3 with a three-run homer and a walk in a 7-5 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday. Votto was the only Red who was able to get to Milwaukee starter Brandon Woodruff, who was dealing on Sunday. The veteran first baseman has seen his power disappear this season, posting a .260 average, seven homers, 37 runs, 19 RBI, and a steal. He is no longer a must-own in mixed leagues and isn't even a must-start in NL-only formats.
