4 years agoCincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto went 1-for-3 with a solo homer and a walk in a 10-1 loss to the Chicago Cubs on Sunday. The homer was Votto's second in his last seven games and fifth overall on the season. The veteran infielder has really been struggling at the plate through his team's first 34 games, hitting just .214 with 13 runs and 10 RBI in 98 at-bats. Votto's days as an elite fantasy first baseman are long gone and it's becoming harder to build a case for keeping him rostered even in NL-only leagues.--Matt T - RotoBaller
