6 years agoCincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto was removed from Wednesday's game due to back stiffness. Votto was having a good day at the plate before being removed, going 1-for-2 with a solo home run off Cleveland starter Zach Plesac. There's no word yet as to the extent of his injury, but the Reds do have Thursday off, so we could see Votto back Friday after taking a day of rest.
