7 years agoThe Cincinnati Reds placed first baseman Joey Votto (leg) on the 10-day disabled list on Friday with a lower leg contusion. In a corresponding move, outfielder Aristides Aquino has been called up from Double-A Pensacola. Votto was hit by a pitch on Aug. 4 and had been bothered by it since. His power has been down this year (nine homers), but he's been great with a .284/.422/.419 slash line. Keep him stashed. Aquino will likely come off the bench and isn't fantasy relevant. Brandon Dixon or Dilson Herrera could help fill in at first base with Votto sidelined.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
