3 years agoCincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto turned out to be hero in a 2-1 win over the Chicago Cubs on Friday. Votto went 1-for-2 with a two-run double in the sixth inning, providing the Reds with their only offense in the win. His double brought both Jonathan India and Nick Castellanos around to score, erasing a 1-0 lead for the Cubs. Votto is enjoying a solid season, hitting .250 with nine doubles, 10 homers, 22 runs, 36 RBI, and a steal in 188 at-bats. He's hitting .308 with two homers and five RBI over his past seven games.--Matt T - RotoBaller
