3 years agoThe Miami Marlins activated infielder Joey Wendle (hamstring) and reliever Richard Bleier (illness) from the injured list on Thursday and optioned Payton Henry and Joe Dunand to Triple-A Jacksonville in corresponding moves. Wendle has been on the shelf since May 13, but he will return to the team's starting lineup on Friday after going on a minor league rehab assignment. The 32-year-old will likely be involved in some sort of timeshare at third base with Brian Anderson now that he's back. Wendle is the more attractive fantasy option, as he is hitting a cool .304/.368/.456 with an .824 OPS, two home runs, six doubles, 10 RBI, 12 runs scored and four stolen bases in 87 plate appearances over his first 25 games for the Fish this year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
