3 years agoTampa Bay Rays third baseman Joey Wendle isn't starting for the team on Sunday against the Boston Red Sox and right-handed starter Nick Pivetta. Wendle has been solid at the plate for both the Rays and fantasy managers so far in 2021, batting .281 with a .339 on-base percentage, seven home runs, and six stolen bases in 316 plate appearances. Yandy Diaz is starting at third instead on Sunday and batting fifth against Pivetta. Diaz could be worth a look as a streaming option, especially in leagues where on-base percentage is part of the scoring.
